October Trilogy

Hi all,
It looks like The October Trilogy will be put on hold indefinitely. There are some things going on with that series that need to be resolved. On the up side, it frees up more time for me to write the sequels in my other series.

    omg no no no i was so looking forward to this coming out in october I absolutely loved the first book i hope it gets resolved quickly so you can continue writing it!!

    Are you talking about the Angel series? What first book? What is it called? Is it the first book Always Angel or is there another one? Or is Always Angel out or is this slated for October? Because I can’t wait until Always Angel is available, I read the excerpt from The Hunt and it sounds amazing. If it is on hold *sigh*:(.

    Hi Des – No, The October Trilogy was a young adult paranormal romance trilogy and it’s been put on hold. The Lost Angels is completely different – a print series that begins with an enovella for promotional reasons in October and then the first official print book in November. Always Angel is the ebook novella done for promotional reasons. Avenger’s Angel, which comes out the following month, is the actual first book in the series and comes out in print. Hope I cleared things up! 🙂 – Heather

    Oh no I also, have been looking so forward for this sequel in October, I hope all the issues will be resolved soon. Thanks for such a great imagination also, I have enjoyed reading each of your series.

    NOOO! i LOVED that book! im so upset now! lol this sucks, but you are still one of my favorite authors, so i’ll let this slide without quitting on you and your books. . . . but it better be an amazing book for making us wait longer. hahaha what am i saying??     No!!!! This makes me sad I was hoping to read book two in october. I hope the issues can be resolved quickly so that I can find out whats next for logan and her friends!!!

    I have read Sam I Am awhile ago and just finished reading it again. I went to google “Secretly Sam” to see if it’s been released and to my disappointment I find it’s on hold indefinitely. I’m sooo sad to hear that. If the issues get resolved, please send out a message. I’m a big fan of your wonderful imagination and the sequels you produce!!

    While I am seriously late to the party, I read the book last night. I regularly seek escape and this particular book fit the bill. So around 2am this morning, when I went searching for the second installment, I almost screamed out loud at the Amazon search that kept coming up empty.
    Forgive the drool that I am likely displaying wanting to find out what the next title will bring but I have to ask, how much longer will the wait be? Is there an ETA? Because, fans (read: me) are waiting with baited breathe to see what becomes of Sam/Logan/Dominic. Best

    At the moment, the ETA for Secretly Sam is Halloween, 2012. I had originally planned to release it sooner, but ran into a ginormous technical snag. However, at least this way they are released in season and spaced one year apart like many other books.     OMG this sucks :(…i read sam i am in one night after it came out i just couldnt put it down i hope evrything works out and the second and third book can come out soon lol

    Hi Corrinne – Yeah, it really did suck, LOL. It was a hard blow for me, but one I can come back from. I’ll be releasing Secretly Sam for Halloween, 2012, so at least it will be released seasonally, one year after another. 🙂 xoxo

    Loved Sam I Am but loved, loved, loved Always Angel and AVengers Angel, I’ve actually read in twice! Have to say I have a slight crush on Samael!!!!. I cannot wait for the next books in both series but I am glad to hear Secretly Sam will be out this year. 🙂

If you liked Always Angel and Avenger’s Angel, then you should know that Messenger’s Angel (book three in the Lost Angels series) came out YESTERDAY! 🙂 In the US, it was released yesterday.     I also finshed the first book in a few hours, amazing writing that I couldn’t wait to get more of. I have to say this is a firm reminder not to starta series until all the books are published. I guess it will get added to a few list of books to check back on in a few years.

    Any news on other series books such as Syndicate novel? I loved The Redeemer and wonder if another is in the works.

    Hi Lanna – At the moment, Redeemer is a stand-alone novel. I had left the ending open enough that if I chose to make it into a sequel later on down the road, I would be able to do so, however I don’t believe it is appropriate at this juncture and I feel it is a good stand-alone novel. The Lost Angels, The October Trilogy, The Kings, The Chosen Soul series, and The Neverland series have my hands more than adequately full – not to mention two book/series I am working on on the side for my agent. I’m afraid I can’t take on any more series right now. 🙂 xoxo

    I just finished the first two or the trilogy.. but I cant seem to find any sort of release date for the 3rd book.. i hope there arent any problems witht hat one.. i hate being left on a cliff hanger in books and they get postponed or cancelled all together.. it sucks alot.. but thank you for the escape! all your series give me an escape from my life.. thank you so much for the escape route!

    Hi Gaby – The October Trilogy is a seasonal release, and book three, Suddenly Sam, will be out October 1, 2013. It should say as much in Secretly Sam, but if you have an older and not-updated copy, then this may not be so. I’m glad you’re enjoying the series! 🙂 Thank you for reading! – h

    Hi Heather,

    I really love the October Trilogy, and I was so excited to get my hands on Suddenly Sam yesterday. However, after scouring the internet (I read everything on my kindle) I couldn’t find a trace of it. Has the final installment been released or has there been a delay? I hope I can read it soon. I just reread the first two books and I am on edge to see what happens! Thanks, and keep up the awesome writing!
