  10. Cassie says:

In the last week I have started (and finished) all four books in The Kings series. Just wondering when the next instalment, The Seelie King, will be released?? This series is my new favourite and I’m dying to read the next one!! I have quickly become a huge fan, love your work!!

  11. Daimee says:

Just finished The Big Bad Wolf Romance Compilation and absolutely loved all 4 books. Cannot wait to start the Kings series.

  12. Cheryl says:

Great!! Love all your books. I have them all and have all the audio one so I can listen at work (lol). Keep ’em coming!!

  13. HRKW says:

Hi Cassie – The Goblin King was only released a few weeks ago (May 31), so the next book won’t be out right away. However, when I do have a release date for it, I will post it to my facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/killough-walden first. 🙂 xoxo

  14. Veronique Aspeling says:

I really love your books. I’m up to date with the “Lost Angels”, “Big Bad Wolf” and “Kings” series. Thanks so much for your great novels. Don’t ever stop writing…

  15. HRKW says:

Thank you Veronique! I also have a few other series and several stand-alones you might wish to give a try. Hell Bent, for instance, usually becomes everyone’s favorite once they’ve read it. There’s also Forever Neverland (a very different and much more romantic take on Captain Hook), The Chosen Soul series (Drake of Tanith is the sequel – and the man), The October Trilogy (Sam I Am, Secretly Sam, and coming this October – Suddenly Sam) is a young adult paranormal romance series that will blow you away. A Sinister Game is an ironically indescribably good book, lol. WAY hot, WAY sexy – WAY exciting and wonderful. And there are more, LOL. Too many to name. You can find a reading list on my Facebook Page. 🙂 xoxo

  16. TR says:

I am just finishing up on the goblin king. I love your work and I can’t wait until the next book comes out in the series. The Seelie King. I know rushing will make the book seem less that what it shoudl be. And I really want to savor the next one. So take your time and blow us away.

  17. I did a book review of your book Messenger’s Angel it was fantastic! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FcqAuMcImw

  18. Melissa says:

I love your books. Do you have any idea when the next book in the Neverland series witll be released?

  19. HRKW says:

Hi Melissa! Thank you. 🙂 That’s the one I’m working on right now and I hope to release it before the summer is out – but don’t tell anyone, and I make NO promises! LOL xoxo

  20. HRKW says:

    Thank you Amy!! 🙂 xoxo

  21. HRKW says:

Thank you TR!! And especially thank you for understanding that these things take time. 🙂 I appreciate that! xoxo

  22. Scarlett says:

Which of your writings is (to you) the hottest, or ‘beyond R’?? I love your Lost Angels series, by the way! Listened to all on audio from Audible.com….fantastic listens, each of them!

Keep writing! We’re reading and listening!!

    Scarlett

  23. Betty Jay says:

    Hi Heather,

I read your book “The Vampire King” , and I loved it! The action was great, the characters were fantastic, and the settings were fabulous, but what I really loved about this book was the lore. As I made my way through the complexities of supernatural politics, I had to wonder, why more authors who write about inhuman creatures living in the human world don’t explain exactly how said creatures manage to fit in and how they interact.

In this case, all is explained. The interactions between the vampires and humans, the vampires and werewolves, and the various groups within the vampire society are carefully explained. And so, the meeting and the romance between the vampire king and a human, and the lady’s subsequent kidnapping by another vampire is not a mere supernatural boy-meets-girl situation, but a huge political issue capable of wreaking havoc among humans and non-humans alike.

Thank you, I’ll read more of your books when I get a chance!

    B. Jay

  24. HRKW says:

Thank you so much Betty Jay. 🙂 The Kings series is a direct spinoff of the Big Bad Wolf series, so I would recommend reading those first before continuing with the Kings. It’s so much more fulfilling having the back story on all of the recurring characters. 🙂 Thank you for reading and for the compliments!! xoxo

  25. HRKW says:

Hi Scarlett! Hmm…. Well, some of the books I wrote at the very beginning are very intense. Like The Strip from the Big Bad Wolf series. It’s not as intense as, say, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo or anything, but it’s pretty nail biting. There’s also one of the short stories from Vampire, Vampire. That one, too, is intense. The Third Kiss: Dorian’s Dream (coming out later this year) is HOT on the technical romance scale because it has, not one “scene”… but two. 😉 But as far as the most ACTUAL romance, real, deep love, and the most heart-melting, drool-worthy, dream-invading characters are concerned, I might suggest Hell Bent. There’s just… no one quite like Jack Thane. xoxo

  26. kristin says:

I am in love with the kings series and neverland series. I am waiting to see when the release dates will be!!

  27. coidentz fox says:

  28. Leia says:

Forgive me, but I’m about to squeal like a fangirl. I’m so glad to find your site! I am completely in love with The Big Bad Wolf series, and have been since you published drips and drabs of it one chapter at a time online. I am so very glad you’re getting the recognition (and hopefully financial reward!) you deserve. I’m now off to convince my husband that he needs to buy ALL of them, and never mind the fact that I just had a birthday. Hooray!

  29. HRKW says:

Thank you Fox! 🙂 I’m so glad you’re enjoying my work. Thank you for reading and for friending! xoxo

  30. HRKW says:

Aww! LOL Thank you! Happy Birthday, Leia! I hope you had a terrific one!! 🙂 xoxo

  31. geneva says:

I love the Big Bad Wolf series and The Kings!!!! I wanted to know when the next book in The King series was coming out?

  32. HRKW says:

    Hi Geneva,
Thank you for the kind feedback. 🙂 I’m so glad that you’re enjoying those series. The Goblin King was released less than two months ago, so it’ll be a fair while before the next book in The Kings series is released. In the meantime, if you enjoy those characters and their environment, I would highly recommend giving some of my other series a try. They’re all wonderfully written, romantic, and fantastical. 🙂

  33. Tara says:

Does the Kings book series come in paperback books??? So far I can only find audio cd’s. I have read the Lost angel series so far….movin on to another till the rest come out, but I like actual books…and then maybe listening to them after I have READ the story. Tell me if the kings only come in cd please. Thanx….Love your stories!!! Tara

  34. HRKW says:

Hi Tara – I’m so glad that you’re enjoying my work. 🙂 I have nearly two dozen books out, including The Kings series (which is a direct spinoff of The Big Bad Wolf series, so I highly recommend reading those first), and of course ALL of my books are available as “actual” books. Not all of them are necessarily printed on dead trees – but they all consist of words that can be read. 🙂 If you don’t have a Kindle, Nook, iPad, etc. or eReader of any kind, you can download the absolutely free Kindle reading ap on any computer at all and you can buy any of my books for much, much less than dead tree books cost (because publishers ratchet up the cost of printed books to a ridiculous degree). Here is the link for the free Kindle reading app, if you are interested: http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000493771
Thank you so much for reading, and I do hope you can enjoy more of my work!
    Best wishes,
    – Heather

  35. I am all pins and needles for your second Neverland series release. Your style of writing is like discovering my love of reading for the first time again. The solid surety of characters and storylines are subtle, sharp and flow from my kindle to capture me from the first to the last begrudged page. Thank you for reigniting my total emersion in the world that is your imagination. Thank you so much for making it easy to choose and be excited with my choice of books!
    Sincerely,
    Debra Kay

  36. HRKW says:

Hi Debra. You’ve just made my millennium with this feedback. 🙂 Thank you so much. As luck would have it, I am working on Beyond Neverland right now. I sincerely hope to have a release date for all of my loyal readers very, very soon. 🙂 Thank you so much for reading – and for the kind words.
    – Heather

  37. Tara says:

I have an idea….which u most likely already thought of anyway, but here it goes…….a spin off of the lost angel series would be cool…once that series is completed of course…ha….one that is about Az’s vampire band mates. Ya get my drift. Just wanted to share that thought. Blessings, T

  38. Jaime says:

I am new to your books, read Big Bad Wolf Series on my Kindle and you have me hooked. Was sad to learn after the books 1-4 ,that there are not anymore yet to read….But I see you have lots of others I can enjoy so I will give some a try. There are so many paranormal books out there, its hard to find ones that you can enjoy without feeling like you have already read it before. Keep them coming….after you have some R/R of course!

  39. HRKW says:

Hi Jaime – thank you for the kind feedback. 🙂 I’m really pleased that you’re enjoying my work. The Kings series is a direct spinoff of the Big Bad Wolf series, fyi – and there will be at least 13 books in that series. 🙂 The first in The Kings is The Vampire King. I do highly recommend other works, as well, such as Hell Bent, which almost always winds up being a reader’s favorite once they’ve given it a try. I write in all genres; something for every mood (and all laced beautifully with more than a hint of romance.) Enjoy!

  40. Brenna Henry says:

I am so happy I saw this response! I have been waiting for what feels like FOREVER for the next book in the Neverland series! The concept of the story line was wonderful and I love the way the Forever Neverland ended! Thank you so much for writing a book that can take me away!

  41. Gaby says:

I love, love, LOVE your books!! I have already gone through the Big Bad Wolf series and all The Kings books. LOVE Damon Chroi by the way! I’ve read Finding Neverland and am eagerly waiting for the next book. I am absolutely IN LOVE with your Angels series and can’t wait for Michael’s book and yet at the same time I don’t want it to ever come to an end! Lol! But I have to say the book that I absolutely cannot wait for any longer is the next Chosen Soul book! I love the Drake of Tanith and can’t wait to see what’s next in store! I guess I’ll just have to go back a re-read everything until the new books come in. Keep up with the writing because you are doing an excellent job! I’m glad I have more of your books to go through because all these suspense drives me crazy. Lol! Thanks for sharing all these wonderful stories!

  42. HRKW says:

Thank you so much Gaby!!! 🙂 I’m seriously pleased that you’re enjoying my work so much. I have several stand-alones as well that are FANTASTIC, such as Hell Bent and A Sinister Game. I’m working on the others right now and hope to have some release dates soon. 🙂 xo

  43. Claire Hilder says:

Hi Heather I love your Lost Angel series and am getting into your other well written works.

Any idea when we can expect the next Lost Angel to be published, I really am desperate to know how Michael resolves to save his archess!

    Claire Hilder

PS hope your having fun in Blighty!

  44. Lise says:

It’s October 1st, where is “Suddenly Sam?” I’ve been counting days waiting for this to come out. I love this series! I can’t wait to read the conclusion.

  45. Amanda Patterson says:

Quoted from the book list above:

    The October Trilogy:
    Sam I Am
    Secretly Sam
    Suddenly Sam (October 1, 2013)

    🙁 🙁 🙁

I have been madly checking my Nook every half hour or so this past week. I do not see the last book! When will it be released? I’ve been looking forward to this!

  46. Bree says:

I love your Forever Neverland book. I’m dying over here for the next one to come out! I love some of the more classical stories told differently and you do a wonderful job with the creation of the characters. Can’t wait to see the next!

  47. Gerri says:

Thank you for allowing me, us ,to be part of your world. I fell in love the the “Big Bad Wolf” series . But then I found the Kings:)! Just bought the ” Goblin King” today.
Rereading the prior book to refresh myself of the series and then this weekend, I can read the latest one, all will be gone except, me my kindle and book, to spend the day
    On the couch.!
    Thanks again

  48. HRKW says:

Hi Amanda – it will be out later this month in time for Halloween. xo

  49. HRKW says:

Hi Lise – there was a slight delay, but it will be out later this month in time for Halloween. xo

  50. HRKW says:

Thank you Gerri – I’m really pleased that you’re liking them! I’ve written more than two dozen novels, all as delicious as those, so while you wait for the next Kings book, why not pop over and give on a shot? 🙂 xo

  51. HRKW says:

Thank you Bree! 🙂 FNL is one of my own favorites as well. I am working diligently on the second and I do hope to have a release date in the near future. xo

  52. Abby says:

I love your brain!! My first foray into your writing was The Vampire King over a year ago, because I am a sucker (pun intended) for hot vampires. I immediately had to find out what the Big Bad Wolf series was all about. Then the lost angels and all of the stand-alones while waiting for more angels and kings. You are on my personal author watch-list. I have read every story that you have published so far. I love your strong female characters and your HOT!!! male leads. Thank you for allowing me to escape to these magical worlds. I will continue to read anything you put on paper… or kindle … or audio 🙂

  53. HRKW says:

Thank you so much Abby!! 🙂 Feedback like this is the fuel that fights the exhaustion, stress, and anxiety of indie publishing and keeps people like me punching those keyboard keys! xoxo

  54. Lenore Belcher says:

Are you going to continue the Big Bad a Wolf series?

  55. Sandra says:

I just completed the audio book and it was awesome. I am eager for the next!

  56. HRKW says:

Hi Lenore – The Big Bad Wolf series continues, in a manner of speaking, through its spinoff series, The Kings. The same characters are found throughout The Kings series, and many, many more. xo

  57. Kate says:

    Hi Heather,

I love the Chosen Soul series and have been anxiously waiting for the final book Queen of Abaddon to come out. When will it be released?

  58. Amanda says:

Hello! I was wondering how many books you plan on having in the Lost Angels series? Thanks much for your time to reply!=)

  59. Liz says:

    PLEASE finish the Neverland trilogy!
    Thank you 🙂

  60. Briina says:

    Hi
I’m interested in buying Forever neverland but it is not available in my country through kindle. Is there any chance that the book will be sold in ibooks or anywhere else available to singapore ? And also when is beyobd neverland coming out ? I can’t wait to read both! Thanks (:

  61. Debbie says:

    Hi Heather,

I am a first time reader of your books. I was looking for vampire books and came across Third Kiss, Dorian’s dream. OMG, am I happy I took a chance. I downloaded a sample and from page one, I was glued. This book was fantastic! I have not read a book quite like this one. It was beautifully written, the world you created is interesting, fascinating, riveting, and sexy. The characters were well-written, the vampire world all felt real it drew me in, I felt I was part of it. Great writing, Heather!

I am hooked on this series and hope, (fingers crossed) that there will be a lot more books, at least a few more. I know Aleksei’s book is next, can you please tell when it will be out? Do you have any plans for more? I honestly hope so, because this first book is the start of a great series.

    Thanks
    Debbie

  62. HRKW says:

Hi Amanda – there are six books total: Always Angel, Avenger’s Angel, Messenger’s Angel, Death’s Angel, Warrior’s Angel, and Samael. Books five and six are the only two not out yet – and book five will be available in 2014. 🙂

  63. HRKW says:

Hi Liz – I am, I promise! 🙂 I hope to release it very soon, in fact. xo

  64. HRKW says:

Hi Brilna – I’ve tried to upload Forever Neverland to Smashwords, where I believe they post to places like iTunes, Kobo, etc. from there, however every time I tried, it came down due to formatting issues. I’ve had a few books with problems like this – others go right through, but these just have problems for some reason. I will keep trying, though. Beyond Neverland should be released very soon. 🙂 xo

  65. HRKW says:

Debbie – thank you so much for the kind feedback. 🙂 I’m really pleased that you enjoyed The Third Kiss: Dorian’s Dream! The second book will be released at approximately the same time next year, and so forth. 🙂 xo

  66. HRKW says:

Hi Kate – I’m working on releasing the third and final book in the Neverland series, the next book in The Kings series, and I just released the final book in the October Trilogy and the first book in The Third Kiss series, and The Chosen Soul is next on the list after these, I promise. I don’t have a release date yet, but I know a lot of people really want to continue with Drake and Raven’s story. I haven’t forgotten you or them. 🙂 xo

  67. Judy says:

I just finished reading Drake of Tanith and I was so disappointed to find out that the next book wasn’t out yet. Do you know when the The Queen of Abaddon will be released? I really hate reading a series that hasn’t been completed yet because I am so impatient.

  68. Cathy says:

Just having a look on iBooks for the Neverland and Hell Bent books, but cannot see these. Can you tell me if these are going to be available on iBooks at any stage as I would love to read them. Thoroughly enjoy your books and eagerly await the next one in the Kings Series and Angel series. Your writing never fails to pull me right into the story – amazing books. I have actually gone back and re-read a lot of them.

  69. HRKW says:

Thank you Cathy! 🙂 I’m not sure why Hell Bent and Forever Neverland aren’t showing up on iBooks. They were submitted with Smashwords long ago, and Smashwords is the one who distributes to Sony, iTunes, Kobo, etc. I’ll have to have a look. In the meantime, if you’re at all interested, I know you can download the free kindle-reading app for any computer or iPad. 🙂 xo

  70. Lorain says:

    Eagerly waiting for Warrior’s Angel!!!!!

  71. Susie says:

    Hi Heather!
Love all your books! Is Queen of Abaddon still slated for release in 2013?
    Thanks!

  72. Mackenzie says:

Has there been any update on the release of the Neverland books?

  73. Cherise says:

    Merry Christmas!

I absolutely love your books! The series that started it all for me was the Chosen Soul. I’ve been patiently waiting for over a year now for news of the third novel (definitely gave me time to catch up on some of your other fantastic series) and was just wondering if you could provide any status update? Obviously it wont be coming out in 2013 like your teaser and other updates mentioned but any little news would be grand in my books! Thanks so much for writing such amazing series. I hope you and your loved ones have Happy Holidays.

  74. Ashley says:

Heather, I have thoroughly enjoyed all of your audiobooks from the The Kings series,
The Lost Angels series, and The Big Bad Wolf series, but cannot find any others on audiobook. Can you point me in the right direction, or advise if or when these will be released?

Many thanks for the wonderful hours of entertainment you have given me! xo

  75. Emily says:

Hi! The chosen soul series is amazing!! The eleves in the hobbit reminds me of the elves in your book!! I was just wondering how much longer till Queen of Abaddon comes out! I have been waiting for so long!!

  76. HRKW says:

Hi Mackenzie – The second book in the Neverland series should release tomorrow, December 31, 2013. 🙂 Have fun, and Happy New Year! xo

  77. HRKW says:

Hi Ashley! Thank you for the kind words. As of right now, those are the only books that are available as audio books. I’m of course hoping that I can someday soon see my other books in audio. I just have to keep my fingers crossed. 🙂 xo

  78. HRKW says:

Hi Emily – thank you. 🙂 I’m glad you’re enjoying the series. I’d hoped to release QoA in 2013, but I was stuck overseas for six months (five months longer than I’d thought), and it really put a wrench in my writing schedule. As a result, I only released four of the books I’d hoped to release. Or was it five…. Still a lot, but QoA was not one of them, I’m afraid. It’s slated for 2014. 🙂 xo

  79. Amanda Patterson says:

@ Beyond Neverland – WOW. Pure awesomeness. THANK YOU – I have been waiting for this book!!!

  80. zara farley says:

    Dear Heather killough walden,

I have loved reading the Kings series books as I have read all of them up to date and was wondering then the 5th king series book would be out.
As you got me hooked in to them and I would love to know what’s next for the 13 kings of yours and the four queen.

  81. HRKW says:

Hi Zara! Thank you for reading my books. 🙂 The next book in The Kings series will come out this year, hopefully sooner rather than later. xo

  82. sabrena says:

I read the books way too fast. I can’t put them down. Can’t wait for each new one. Really love ‘Angels’ and ‘kings’! You have such talent!

  83. Geneva messer says:

When is the next book in the kings series gonna be released? I love the series & can’t wait for the next book!!

  84. Kerri says:

Loved Hell Bent. I hope Adam Night whispers in your ear to tell his story 🙂

  85. HRKW says:

Hi Geneva – The next Kings series book will release this year, sooner rather than later. 🙂 xo

  86. HRKW says:

Thank you Sabrena! And thank you for reading. 🙂 xo

  87. HRKW says:

    Thank you Amanda! 🙂

  88. Pam says:

Just wanted to say that I can’t wait for the next books in the Lost Angels and The Kings series to be released! Great reads, cried when the Goblin King died, I’m such a sap lol. Thanks for the great reads 🙂

  89. Kim Burke says:

Any updates on the remaining Lost Angels series? Looking forward to Michael and Sam’s stories!

  90. Cathy says:

Thanks Heather, I have downloaded the kindle app as you suggested and have been able to get the first neverland book and Hell Bent, but have noticed that the second neverland book is now available on iBooks, (still no sign of the first book there though). Thanks for the continued enjoyment of reading your books.

  91. Shelley says:

Are you planning on writing another Kings? I really love them and waiting for another, can’t wait I’m hooked!

    Sincerely
    Shelley

  92. HRKW says:

Hi Shelley! Absolutely! 🙂 In fact, the fifth book in The Kings series, “The Seelie King” will come out early this year. 🙂 xo

  93. HRKW says:

Hi Kim! Warrior’s Angel will release later this year, and the final book, “Samael,” will release most likely mid- to late 2015. 🙂 Thank you for reading!

  94. HRKW says:

Thank you Pam! The next book in the Kings series should release relatively soon. 🙂 xo

  95. Gracie says:

    Dear Heather Walden,

Will the Seelie King come out on a Audio Book through Tantor like the others have and if so when as I am dying to hear the rest of the book as I love the little teaser of it and was not surprise it base in London. 🙂 I just love the Kings Series, and enjoy listening to it in bed. <3

    Sincerely
    Gracie

  96. HRKW says:

Hi Gracie! I do hope that my agent can work out a deal to have the rest of the Kings series come out in audio format through Tantor, but I don’t know yet if this will be the case. Thank you for the kind words!
    – Heather

  97. Kathie Faith says:

I started reading your books last summer (Big Bad Wolf, the Kings, and Third Kiss) and I thoroughly enjoyed them all. When will the second book in the Third Kiss series be out?

That’s sad 🙁 I love the character of Annabelle!

  101. HRKW says:

Hello Shiboune – Here is the updated reading list as it now stands. Queen of Abaddon does not yet have a release date, but as soon as we have one, we will post it here and on Facebook.

  102. HRKW says:

Hi Sherri! Yes, all of the Kings books will be available on Nook. 🙂

  103. Sherri Hawkins says:

Hello again I also fell in love with the BBW series….will there be more books to that series soon ?

  104. gracey says:

I was just rereading Forever Neverland, it shows that the sequel was due to be released December 2012. What happened? I was so looking forward to read what gappens next.

  105. HRKW says:

Gracey, Beyond Neverland was released in December and has been available for some time.
Here is the link where you can purchase it from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Beyond-Neverland-Sequel-Forever-ebook/dp/B00HM9M5OG/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1388515942&sr=1-1&keywords=beyond+neverland

  106. Shangri-La Jackson says:

I am finally coming out of moruning for my favorite romantic-paranormal writer “L. A. Banks . I appreciate your writing still and adventures into other realms. I have read all of “The Kings” thus far and am awaiting the “UnSeelie King”. I know the book will become another favorite. Keep up the great work!

  107. Claire says:

    Hi,

Please could you add a page to your website naming all characters from your big bad wolf/kings series (and what powers they possess) as I can’t remember who everyone is supposed to be due to the big gap between the previous and new books. lol
    Thanks

  108. Leana says:

    Hi Heather,

I was just checking to see if there was any update on a release date for the next book in the Chosen Soul series? I am just itching to see where things go with Raven & Drake. 🙂

  109. HRKW says:

    Hi Leana,
There’s no update just yet, but though I can not officially give any release date at all for the book and I make no promises, I do feel that this winter would make an excellent time for the release of this particular book. Don’t you? 🙂

  110. Danna says:

I would like to just add my vote for QOA to come out soon. I am not sure how you choose what stories or series you write or when or even if my stating this makes a difference but on the off chance it does I would like to say I own and have read (even multiple times) almost all of your books but the chosen series is my favorite. I have been waiting so long to find out what happens with their story. I see all of these other books come out which are great reads but I was wondering if you could give an idea when we can “really” expect QOA to come out.

  111. Dawn Harney says:

When will The Seelie King be available on audio ?

  112. HRKW says:

    Hi Dawn,
I’m afraid The Seelie King will not be available on audio. Tantor will not be publishing the remainder of the series.

  113. Goldie says:

Is there a relase date for the QOA its said tbr 2013 but it has not been updated.. I hope that it is soon, i love that series and am dying to see what happens next!!

  114. jenn says:

    hi heather
I am always looking for any good paranormal writers and came across your name. I love the kings series and am reading the last book The Seelie King now. I am going to start the big bad wolf series next I know I read them backwards lol. What I was wondering is there going to be any more Kings finding their Queens.I really enjoy reading about how they are going to convince their would b queen to come and stay with them. I have read a lot of paranormal romance books it’s my secret obsession and u r one of the best thanks for continuing to write such great fiction.

  115. Amy says:

    Hey Heather,
Do you have a date for when queen of abandon will be out yet? I really want to read it!

  116. HRKW says:

Hi Amy – I’m pleased to hear that you’re anticipating this one, but I’m afraid I don’t have a release date yet. I would love to be able to get it out this winter, but I can’t make any promises at all. xo
    – Heather

  117. Larissa says:

Hello, I was just wondering when or if the King series and your other books are going to be coming out in paperback?

  118. HRKW says:

    Hi Larissa,
I wish they would. At this time, there are no plans for paper-backing them, except perhaps in Canada (that is up in the air and I’m hopeful). It’s up to my agent and the publishers, really. I do keep my fingers crossed for future releases, however, and whenever I have news of new publications, I always make sure to let everyone know, both on here, and through my FB page, my newsletter, and on Twitter.
    – Heather

  119. Sydney says:

Hey Heather I’m a huge fan and I’ve read most of your books, I was wondering when the next installment of the chosen soul series is going to come out. It feels like it’s been forever lol.

  120. HRKW says:

Hi Sydney – I make no promises (and I mean that – no promises at all), but I am deeply hoping I can focus on Queen of Abaddon for a Winter, 2014 publication. My fingers are crossed (except for when they’re very busy typing). Thank you very much for reading. 🙂 xo – Heather

  121. Tina says:

I totally agree Shiboune!! I have read and read again The Chosen Soul and Drake of Tanith and really can’t wait for Queen of Abaddon to be released.

  122. Cheryl Meredith says:

The big bad wolf , The King, The third kiss, these have been fantastic. I have been shut in at home for the last 4 years. At the age of 47, and after 23 years as a manager in retail and owner of 3 businesses, it has been very difficult to not be Mobil. I have survived this struggle thru my faith in God and wonderful, creative authors like you. Keep them coming and God Bless

  123. Krys says:

Will you still be releasing a book #3 to the Neverland series?

  124. HRKW says:

Hi Cheryl. Thank you so much for your kind words. You know, I recently (a week and a half ago, or so) had an accident and suffered a spinal injury. I’ve (temporarily, I hope) lost the use of my right leg and am in immense amounts of pain. I know what you mean about finding life to be a completely different shade of real when you suddenly can’t… move. No driving, no dancing, no running, heck no walking even. The neurosurgeon who will perform my surgery doesn’t come in until mid-August, so until then, I’m facing a strange perspective. Of course, I have always had very bad arthritis, slipped discs, snapping hip syndrome, etc., so movement was limited for me since my early twenties, despite the fact that I won awards in dance, taught Jazz and ballet, and won second prize in a 5K…. But this takes it to a whole different level. In short, I empathize. I am not religious, but I certainly agree that positive thinking helps. And the escape never hurts, lol. 🙂 I’m glad I’ve managed to help you, if even just a little bit. Might I suggest my Lost Angels series? In this order: Always Angel, Avenger’s Angel, Messenger’s Angel, Death’s Angel, and coming August 10th, Warrior’s Angel. They focus on the four favored archangels: Michael, Uriel, Gabriel, and Azrael. The final book in the series will release next year: Samael. Anyway, I thought I might suggest them. Thank you again for reading and for the kind feedback. xoxo – Heather

  125. HRKW says:

Hi Krys! The series has become a two-book series. Everything was wrapped up in Beyond Neverland. I’d originally planned to write three, but the characters had different plans. They’re the ones who tell their own stories, so I do what they say. Thank you for reading! 🙂 xo

  126. tiffany says:

When will the next book in the king series come out

  127. Jessica says:

    Hi,
I’m wondering when the release date for the fourth book in The Lost Angels series will be released in Australia and if it will be released in paperback? I have read the teaser and it had me hooked already. My mum and I love the first three books in the series and looking forward to the fourth! You are a fantastic writer and I enjoy reading your work.

  128. jordyn says:

    Hi Heather!
I recently read on you blog that Warrior’s Angel was released on August 10, however all the book stores I have been to have told me that the book is not even in their databases, so then I went to look for it as an ebook and I cannot find it there either. I have been dying to read it, as I love your Lost Angel Series!

    Thanks for your time!

  129. HRKW says:

Hi Jessica! It should have become available at Amazon’s Kindle page at the very same time that it became available here in the US. Here is the US link for it; I’m hoping that if you click on it, it will automatically transfer you to the Australia site, or at least give you the option to do so. Enjoy the book! 🙂 – Heather

    Thanks
    Pamela

  132. HRKW says:

  133. Simone Patrone-Lozoff says:

Hello I was wondering when Never Neverland is coming out?

  134. HRKW says:

    Hi Simone –
The Neverland series consists of only two books: Forever Neverland and Beyond Neverland. I had initially planned a third, Never Neverland, however the characters had different plans when I was writing their stories. They made certain that the story ended with Beyond Neverland (very beautifully and fittingly, if I may say so myself).
    Warm wishes – Heather

  135. Alexandra says:

Will a follow-up to Hell Bent be released about Adam Night? I saw online mention of a book called Mean Business that was to be released in 2012 but I can’t find it. Thanks!

  136. Romeé Walker says:

  139. Becca says:

Hello! I just had a few random questions that have been driving me crazy. Haha Okay so I don’t know if I missed it or what….but what happened to Seth after Katherine and Byron’s book?! And wasn’t there a vampire with one blue and one green eye?! It’s like they just fell off the face of the earth. And I was wondering if I just forgot or if I missed something or if they really did just not get mentioned after that…? Or if I’m going crazy.
    Thank you!

  140. HRKW says:

Hi Becca – Seth and what happened with him are discussed in one of the books from The Kings series. 🙂 The Kings is a spinoff of the Big Bad Wolf series. The answers are in there! 🙂
    – Heather

  141. Carol says:

WHAT?! I just happened to be reading some of the questions and answers and read your answer about Warrior’s Angel. I’ve waited all this time and now find out that it’s only in e-book??? I don’t have one and so far don’t want one! THIS IS NOT RIGHT!! I’ve already read the first 3 and I’ve been waiting so long for Michael’s story. What about us print readers? Is there any way we can do something to let the publisher know we’ve been waiting too? You’re not the first author that I’ve spoken to about this and I get the same answer — it’s the publishers.

  142. HRKW says:

Hi Carol – I would love to see the rest of the series in print, as well, but due to non-negotiable factors, the print contract ended with Death’s Angel. I think it’s always a good idea to let publishers know that you’d love to see the rest of the series in print. You can contact Penguin through its website and I believe also its Facebook page. 🙂 – Heather

  143. Arashi says:

Love you books just finished Warriors Angel and can’t wait for Samael to come out!!

  144. Amanda Patterson says:

You are awesome and I love your work.

    More books please. /naggingimpatientfangirl

  145. Kristen says:

I was wandering if you could tell me where and if I could buy the Foerever Neverland books somewhere? I have tried to find them every place I could think of, but they all sell them in ebook or nook book form and I don’t have one of those. I would really like to read them. Thank you.

  146. Ty Zeiter says:

I just read the excerpt for FOREVER NEVERLAND and I cannot wait to buy it and read it!!! But I was wondering… why did you base it in modern times instead of in the late 1800’s like in J.M. Barrie’s book? Isn’t this supposed to be a “sequel” to that?

  147. sadie smithey says:

Hi Heather I love the the neverland series . So I was wondering if you were going to write about captain hook and Wendy’s daughter in a neverland series or see what happen to Michael and the lost boys too?

  148. HRKW says:

Hi Kristen – I’m afraid at the moment, the Neverland series is only available in eBook format. I would LOVE to see the books in print. So much so that I have even considered printing them myself – but the cost is enormous. Beyond Neverland is my favorite of the books I’ve written, followed closely by Warrior’s Angel and Hell Bent. I highly recommend it, even if you don’t own an ereader (I don’t either.) I do all of my reading on my computer. You can download free Kindle and Nook apps for any computer, phone, iPad, etc. I do hope you get a chance to buy and read them – I promise you won’t regret it. xo
    – Heather

  149. HRKW says:

Hi Sadie – I’m so glad you enjoyed the Neverland series. 🙂 The story ends with Beyond Neverland, however. In fact, I’d originally planned three books, but I always allow the characters of my stories to tell their own tales, and this time around, they told it to the end with the second book. I try not to argue with them. 😉 Thank you for reading! xo
    – Heather

  150. Tracy Mclean says:

I just read Hell Bent. I loved Annabelle and the rest of the characters in this book, I hope you would maybe consider this as a series maybe?

  151. Bunny says:

The lost Angels Series is VERY KOOL. I prefer the Audio books and was wondering when the audio of Warrior’s Angel will be release on audible.com or else where. I have not gotten around to your other books as yet, I’m staggering my genre, too much of one thing an all u know. Keep up the good books.

  152. HRKW says:

Hi Tracy! I would love to make this a series, but it ended well, and right now I have too many series on my plate. Perhaps some time in the (far) future. 🙂 Thank you so much for reading!

  153. HRKW says:

Hi Bunny! Thank you so much for reading The Lost Angels series – I’m really pleased you’re enjoying it. 🙂 The audio version was set to come out approximately six months after the book release, I believe, so I’m thinking around February? They just approved the cover last week. I will make an announcement on my Facebook pages as soon as it’s available, along with links where you can purchase it. Thank you again for reading! 🙂 – Heather
